“Ohmygawd Shut Up. It’s like totally vapor” may be the text that greets you upon landing on Stag’s website. We literally LOL’d.

Stay and watch Stag’s images, and you’ll get a chuckle from the rest of them. Each exudes a different amount of cheese!

Anyway, on to their actual starter kits…
Stag’s Metro features a portable charging case that has a LED display to show how much charge is left on the case. It also includes one battery, four cartomizers, one USB charger, and one wall charger. The price for the Metro is $49.95, which is a decent price for a PCC but not so much for the amount of units you actually receive. The good thing about Stag is their one-year warranty coverage. In their description, they neglect to mention if you need to send back the defunct unit first prior to receiving a new one, but we’re just happy to see a company that ACTUALLY (zomg!!!!11) offers a one-year warranty without any “hidden” fine print (ahem, V2).

Moving on to the next offering, we have Smart Smoke’s Alpha kit. Featuring a smooth black or silver battery finish, this kit looks snazzy but, like Metro, only has one battery and one charger. It does include five more cartomizers for a total of 10, and the price is $39.95. Comparing it to the Metro, however, they break somewhat even. The question remains: how important is it for you, the user, to have a PCC, and is it worth the extra $10+?

Smart Smoker’s BUMPER kit is well-priced at $99.99 and includes two batteries, a total of 60 cartridges (cartomizer style), and a USB charger. Normally, a 5-pack of cartomizers alone would run at about $10, so purchasing 60 cartridges elsewhere may end up costing you $120. In this case, you’re not only saving an instant $20 but also another $25 minimum for the batteries and charger. Their returns and replacements process is simple and straightforward, and their warranty covers batteries and atomizers for three months, though there’s no mention of coverage for the chargers.

Karma Classic offers a Premium kit with on-the-go charging capability (or PCC). It includes two batteries, one USB charger (as well as cable), a storage case, and a 5-pack of cartomizers for $59.95. Each additional 5-pack of cartomizers runs at $12. So, doing the math real quick, it would cost an additional $132 to get the same amount of Karma cartomizers included in the BUMPER. Then again, BUMPER’s offering does not include a PCC.

In the end, choosing between Smart Smoker’s BUMPER and Karma Classic’s Premium is a matter of whether you find the PCC a more valuable commodity than not having a PCC!

Electosmoke’s website = Is this a real company?

Le Cig’s website = Agggh, headache!

Electosmoke offers e-cigarettes in their actual model names: 808D, 510, and eGo. Both 808D and 510 are extremely popular mini-style (meaning, closely resembling the actual size and feel of a regular tobacco cig) e-cigarettes, and either one would make an excellent choice for all users of different levels: beginners, intermediate, and “veterans”. Electosmoke’s 510 Freedom Full kit features two batteries, two atomizers, one wall charger, an empty e-liquid bottle, and… and… oh, no liquid? Um, there’s no mention of it including cartridges. Maybe the two cartridges are actually cartomizers? Can’t tell from the image alone. Other kits mention cartomizers, so maybe this one includes them, too.

They offer 20 ml e-liquid bottles starting at $12.95 in flavors such as pineapple, cola, cherry, and Cuban cigar.

LeCig’s prices are about average. For $59.99, you’d get one short battery, one PCC, one PCC battery, five cartomizers, one wall charger, and a mini USB to standard USB charging cable. The PCC is the selling point of the entire deal and not so much the units. They also offer e-cigars, which are awesome.
